Our material solutions include Colorite® polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compounds, and Cellene® thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) compounds. These medical-grade compounds are used by some of the world’s foremost healthcare and medical device manufacturers. Engineered for extrusion, injection molding, blow molding and film applications, these compounds are formulated to provide exceptional clarity, superior heat stability and excellent processability.
While Colorite brand PVC compounds continue to be the product of choice for most medical applications around the world, some healthcare systems are implementing strategic initiatives for phthalate-free patient environments. For those applications, our non-phthalate PVC compounds or our Cellene compounds are ideal. IV therapy producers have been among the first conversions in North America. Our material brands are globally recognized for consistently meeting or surpassing rigorous regulatory and industry standards.
Our extensive line of custom, clear PVC compounds is suitable for extrusion, injection and blow molding processes. Colorite compounds are available with excellent gamma radiation resistance, as well as self-frosting and radiopaque materials.
Cellene TPEs are suitable for a wide variety of uses in medical devices, packaging and other regulated markets. Our Cellene compounds are formulated to be silicone, latex, phthalate, halogen and PVC-free using FDA-compliant raw materials to meet USP Class VI and ISO 10993 standards.
