Young becomes Chief Executive Officer. 2008 Tekni-Plex announces formation of Tekni-Plex India LTD 2006 Tekni-Plex Technologies (Suzhou) Co Ltd. a wholly owned subsidiary formed to establish a manufacturing presence in the Asia-Pacific region. 2002 Tekni-Plex completes the acquisition of Elm Packaging. 2001 Tekni-Plex acquires the Swan Hose business of Mark IV Industries, Inc. 2000 Tekni-Plex acquires the Super Plastics Division of RCR International, Inc. Tekni-Plex, Argentina, S.A. formed to served South American markets. 1999 Tekni-Plex acquires Tri-Seal International and NATVAR. Tekni-Plex, Inc. (Singapore) formed to serve the Southeast Asia market. 1998 Tekni-Plex and PureTec merge.
