Paul J. Young, President and CEO
Paul Young joined Tekni-Plex in June 2008 as chief executive officer. He came to the company from Graham Packaging, where he served as senior vice president of the PET Food and Beverage division, which generated revenues of more than $900 million and operated 23 plants in North America. Earlier at Graham, Paul led the integration of the Owens-Illinois plastic container business. He also served in senior business and manufacturing roles at Owens-Illinois, Continental PET Technologies and Continental Can. Paul holds a Master of Business Administration from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from University of Toledo.
John Seifert, Chief Financial Officer
John joined Tekni-Plex in 2012 as vice president of finance and now serves as the company’s chief financial officer. During his career at Tekni-Plex, John has led teams that were responsible for budgeting, financial planning and analysis, supporting debt financing transactions and assisting with the sale of the business twice to new financial sponsors. He has been involved in multiple M&A transactions and the evaluation of significant capital investments, as well as ERP system implementation to help drive business growth. Prior to joining Tekni-Plex, John held various senior roles in both private and public companies including Taurus Aerospace, InfraSource and Reading Entertainment. John holds a Bachelor’s of Science in finance from Lehigh University.
David Waksman, Chief Legal Officer
David joined the company in January 2011 as vice president, general counsel and secretary and now serves as our senior vice president, chief legal officer and secretary. He came to Tekni-Plex from Constar International Inc. where he held roles of increasing responsibility including senior vice president, human resources, general counsel and secretary. Previously, he served as a partner at the law firm of Dechert LLP. David earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance from New York University, and a Law degree from New York University. He also holds Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in History from Johns Hopkins University.
Rochelle Krombolz, Chief Human Resources Officer
Rochelle joined Tekni-Plex in April 2014 as senior vice president and chief human resources officer. Rochelle has served in senior HR leadership roles at Lincoln Financial Company, ARAMARK, Aventis Pharmaceuticals, ARCO Chemical Company, and co-founded a strategy and business consulting company. Rochelle’s industry background includes manufacturing, distribution, technology services, pharmaceuticals/healthcare, financial services, consumer products, managed services and consulting. Rochelle holds a master’s degree in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Duke University.
Steve Penn, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing
Steve joined Tekni-Plex in October 2015 as senior vice president of sales and marketing. Prior to joining Tekni-Plex, Steve was global head of merchant and packaged gases for the Linde Group. He has also held various senior positions with BOC, a multinational industrial gas company, now part of the Linde Group. His significant international experience includes general management, marketing, business development, customer acquisition, supply chain management and engineering. Steve earned a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin and a B.A. in Chemistry from Kenyon College.
Phil Bourgeois, Senior Vice President of Global Technology & Regulatory Affairs
Phil Bourgeois, Ph.D. joined Tekni-Plex in 2010 as the senior vice president of global technology and regulatory affairs. In this role, he oversees new product technology platform development for the healthcare, specialty and food packaging business units of Tekni-Plex and leads global regulatory compliance. Phil has established and manages Tekni-Plex’s Global Technology Center in Holland, OH. Prior to joining Tekni-Plex, he served as vice president of research & development for Rexam Plc’s Plastics Group where he was responsible for material, closure and container development for high- barrier food, beverage, pharmaceutical and prescription product groups. Phil holds a B.S. in chemistry from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a M.S. and Ph.D in polymer science from the Institute of Materials Science at the University of Connecticut.
Suj Mehta, Senior Vice President, Corporate Development and Mergers & Acquisitions
Suj Mehta joined Tekni-Plex in 2009 as vice president, deputy general counsel and now serves as senior vice president, corporate development, mergers and acquisitions (M&A). Suj leads the company’s strategic growth initiatives through M&A. Prior to joining Tekni-Plex, Suj was a principal and executive at New Generation Hospitality, a hotel management and development company, where he led more than 30 acquisition and business development transactions, and supported the governance and corporate development functions at Verizon Wireless. His experience covers advising on corporate finance, complex M&A, real estate and commercial transactions. Suj received his B.S. in finance from Rutgers University, his J.D. from Seton Hall School of Law, and his LLM in banking, corporate & finance law from Fordham University Law School.
Jeff Rishel, Vice President Global Information Technology
Jeff Rishel joined Tekni-Plex in 2014 as vice president of global information technology. As the company’s senior IT executive, he is responsible for making sure that the company’s global IT systems provide a cost-effective competitive advantage. His experience covers manufacturing applications, business process improvement, financial reporting and compliance, in addition to managing distributed computing, networks and general technology infrastructure. Prior to joining Tekni-Plex, Jeff was chief information officer for Graham Packaging. He has a B.S. degree in computer science from Shippensburg University.
Lance Novotny, Vice President of Manufacturing Engineering
Lance Novotny joined Tekni-Plex in 2014 as vice president of manufacturing engineering. He is responsible for continuous improvement, project management, lean manufacturing and strategic commercial planning for Tekni-Plex’s global facilities. Previous to joining Tekni-Plex, Lance spent more than 20 years in various positions at Graham Packaging, including vice president of operations. He has a degree in electrical engineering technology from Penn State University.
Kirk H. Rumsey, VP Procurement
Kirk Rumsey joined Tekni-Plex in September 2013 as vice president of global procurement. In 2016, his responsibilities included general manager of US films. Kirk was previously chief operating officer for KubeTech Custom Molding (formerly Rexam Home and Personal Care)—a business which operated five plants in North America and Europe and generated more than $100 million in sales. Earlier at Rexam, Kirk was vice president, global supply chain for the $2.2 billion plastics sector. He also served in senior procurement roles at Owens-Illinois, supporting both plastic and glass businesses. Kirk is a 10-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He holds a Master of Systems Management degree from the Air Force Institute of Technology and a B.S. in aerospace engineering from the University of Michigan.
Glenn Fish, Chief Operating Officer
Glenn Fish joined the company in February 2014 as executive vice president and chief financial officer, and was promoted to chief operating officer in October 2017. Prior to joining Tekni-Plex, Glenn served as senior vice president, chief financial officer and corporate secretary, with Portola Packaging, Inc., a global supplier of plastic closures and containers for the food industry. Prior to that, he spent 12 years with Alcan Packaging where he served in numerous finance, general management, and leadership roles, including vice president – finance, and vice president – strategy & business development, Food Packaging Americas. Glenn earned a Master of Business Administration in Finance from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Northern Illinois University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant.
Ian Kenny, Global Managing Director, Colorite
Ian joined the company in 1996 as part of the Colorite Europe start up team responsible for the technology transfer from Colorite US to EU. He was appointed managing director in 2000 and was named global managing director in 2010 of Colorite business unit. Previously, Ian held various senior engineering, technical and business development positions with Boxmore PLC (now Chesapeake Corp) and Unidare PLC. He holds an executive Master of Business Administration and a B.S. degree with honors in mechanical engineering, both from Queens University, Belfast and holds a diploma in company direction, from Institute of Directors, UK.
David L. Andrulonis, Senior Vice President, General Manager Tri-Seal
David Andrulonis joined the Company in September 2010 as vice president, general manager of the Americas Flexibles business unit and now serves as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Tekni-Plex’s Tri-Seal global liner business. Before joining Tekni-Plex, he was vice president, global commercial manager of Rexam Closure Systems. David has also held various Commercial and General management positions at Graham Packaging Company and at Owens-Illinois, Inc. (Plastic Packaging division). Andrulonis holds a B.S. degree in business administration from The Pennsylvania State University and executive education certifications in business from the University of Notre Dame and Michigan University.
Bob Donohue, General Manager of Global Medical Operations for Natvar
Bob Donohue joined Natvar, a Tekni-Plex company in 1998 as an engineering manager and has held various positions over the past two decades. In 2006, he was named general manager of global operations. He currently oversees five manufacturing plants located in Europe, North and Central America and China. Before coming to Natvar, Bob was a product development engineer at Vinyl Plastics Corp. He received his degree in electrical engineering from University of Wisconsin in Madison.
Jim Carosella, General Manager of Action Technology, US
Jim Carosella joined Tekni-Plex in 2011 as the director of operations for the company’s Dolco Packaging business unit. In 2014 he was named U.S. general manager of Action Technology, a Tekni-Plex company. Action Technology is known as the global leader for punched and molded rubber and plastic gaskets, as well as wound and precut dip tubing, for aerosol and pump dispensing products. Previously, Jim held various positions at Graham Packaging and Owens-Illinois. He received a B.A. in economics from Duke University.
Jay Arnold, Vice President and General Manager of Dolco Packaging
Jay Arnold joined Tekni-Plex in 2014 as the vice president and general manager of its Dolco Packaging business unit– the leading manufacturer of polystyrene foam egg cartons in the United States. Previously, he worked at Graham Packaging, serving as vice president and general manager of the $900MM food & beverage business, which operated 32 plants in the US, Canada and Mexico. His 20-year career at Graham including positions ranging from packaging engineer to vice president global R&D and new business development. Jay has a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Drexel University.
Russell Hubbard, Senior Vice President—International and General Manager Tekni-Plex Technologies (Suzhou, China)
Russell Hubbard joined Tekni-Plex in 2009 as vice president – international to manage the growing Asia operation. He is currently also general manager of Tekni-Plex Technologies (Suzhou), Co., Ltd. Prior to joining Tekni-Plex, Russell was director, global business development at Graham Packaging where he was responsible for developing business opportunities in Asia, Mexico and Latin America. His 35 years of experience in the packaging industry, includes senior level roles in product development, strategic planning, finance and administration at Amcor PET Packaging, Continental PET Technologies, Kerr Plastics and Continental Can Company. He holds an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business and a B.A. in Economics from Colgate University.
Johan Laureys, Vice President of Action Technology Global, Managing Director Tekni-Plex Europe nv & Managing Director Action Technology Italia
Johan Laureys joined Tekni-plex Europe in June 1996 for the start-up of an extrusion plant in Italy. In 2001 his responsibility were broadened to include the Italian rubber plant. In January 2008 he was named managing director of Action Technology Italia. Prior to joining Tekni-Plex, Johan worked as technical engineer for a Belgian city council. He holds a Master degree in Bioscience Engineering, University of Ghent (Belgium) and followed a Master in Sviluppo Manageriale at the Bocconi School of Management (Milan, Italy).
Joe Horn, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Tekni-Films
Joe Horn joined Tekni-Plex in 2017, bringing to the company more than 30 years of business development experience, supported by a chemical engineering background. Prior to joining Tekni-Plex, Horn was head of global helium and rare gases for The Linde Group, AG. He and his team were successful in driving significant growth, both organically and through joint ventures. Horn has spent most of his career in various positions with industrial gas businesses, including the BOC Group and Air Products and Chemicals. Horn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering from the University of Illinois and a Master’s Degree in business administration from Rutgers University.
Duane Dunn, General Manager of Dunn Industries
Duane Dunn joined Tekni-Plex in 2018 as general manager of the Dunn Industries business unit, immediately following Tekni-Plex’s acquisition of this business – a leading supplier of thermoplastic tubes and solid cores for medical device applications throughout the world. Since 1990, Duane has held positions with increasing responsibility in operations, marketing and sales at Dunn Industries. Duane holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
